Breaking it down, putting it through the "me" filter and putting it back together again – that's what's going in this illustration. Reviving a technique I first used with All Is Full Of Love, I drew this upside-down and one square at a time, hiding everything else as I went along. The effect is a strange mix of cohesion and fragmentation. Thank you to Levi Burkle for his openness to participate in creative exploration.
